Below is an important message from one of our highly valued sponsors. Please read it carefully as they have some special information to share with you.

Dear Reader,

Jeff Bezos is terrified.

He will be down on his knees, hands out, begging Elon for mercy.

Because Elon is about to do something that will:

Cut Amazon out of the AI race ENTIRELY…

Completely DESTROY Blue Origin…

And take control of the potential $25 TRILLION DOLLAR PER YEAR AI INDUSTRY

And in his wake, potentially create 1,806,000 NEW millionaires over the coming years…

Starting December 8th.

And this is your chance to be one of them.

Elon Musk is currently quietly planning the biggest project of his entire career.

And a single FCC filing proves it, click here to see why.

This is bigger than Tesla, SpaceX, and X combined.

And I believe it will not only cement Elon as the winner of the AI race…

It will allow Elon to control the entire industry.

Something of this magnitude has never happened in the history of the human race.

And it’s happening FAST.

According to my timeline, you must act by December 8th.

I explain everything right here.

>>>This is your free Millionaire Maker Masterclass… and it starts right now.

Sincerely,

James Altucher

Eni Unlocked a Two-Layer Payday for Shareholders

Oil majors talk constantly about capital discipline. Eni is showing what it actually looks like. Reporting third-quarter results this morning, the Italian energy group posted adjusted net profit of €2.8 billion, against a company-compiled analyst consensus of €2.48 billion. Adjusted net profit rose 125% from a year earlier. That gap between expectation and reality is not a rounding error. It is the product of a specific operational decision made years ago.

The cash went straight to shareholders. Cash returns in the quarter totaled €1.9 billion, comprising the first tranche of the 2026 dividend and execution of the buyback program. But management did not stop there. Considering the excellent operating and financial performance of the nine months and an improved full-year cash flow projection of €16.5 billion, Eni resolved to distribute an extraordinary dividend of €0.46 per share and increase the buyback program by 12% to €3.8 billion. The ordinary dividend guidance for 2026 was also confirmed at €1.10 per share, up 5% from 2025. That is three separate levers pulled in a single quarter.

What Happens AFTER the AI Bubble Bursts?

A lot of investors are starting to worry about when the AI bubble will burst. Gold analyst Garrett Goggin is studying something far more lucrative than AI: what happens next? Three times in the last century, speculative manias ended with enormous amounts of capital rotating into hard assets. Garrett believes it’s about to happen again – and he’s identified four gold miners positioned directly in front of this potential flood of money.

Go here to see Garrett’s four “Great Rotation” stocks.

Why the Numbers Work

The upstream business drove the quarter, but the draft’s specific upstream profit and production figures (and the reference to a Southeast Asia joint venture named “Searah”) could not be verified from Eni’s materials or reliable same-day reporting. What is supported is the bigger point: Eni tied the bigger distribution to stronger nine-month performance and a higher full-year cash flow outlook, not just to a commodity bounce.

That distinction matters for income investors evaluating energy names. Companies with durable cash flows and credible balance sheets have historically kept paying dividends through cycles that cut weaker payers.

The balance sheet gave management the confidence to act. Pro forma gearing stood at 9% at the end of the third quarter, while adjusted cash flow before working capital reached €4.29 billion in the quarter. The updated full-year cash flow guidance of €16.5 billion sits €1.5 billion above the previous €15 billion outlook. When a company carries that little debt and generates that much cash, returning it becomes the obvious move rather than the generous one.

The Plenitude Angle

One structural change deserves attention from investors thinking beyond the next quarter. In October, Plenitude completed a reorganization of its shareholding structure through a non-proportional capital increase of €1.56 billion, implying a pre-money equity valuation of €10.75 billion, or an enterprise value of roughly €13.1 billion. The new governance framework grants Eni and Ares joint control over Plenitude, resulting in deconsolidation from Eni’s consolidated financial statements. Eni now holds about 65% of a renewables and retail business valued at roughly €13.1 billion on an enterprise value basis, without consolidating it in Eni’s financial statements. That is not a retreat from the clean energy space. It is a way to keep exposure while freeing up financial flexibility for exactly the kind of cash returns announced today.

What This Means for Your Portfolio

Eni’s playbook this quarter is worth studying as a template. The extraordinary dividend of €0.46 per share, payable December 9, sits on top of the ordinary dividend plan. Together they illustrate a policy Eni has been explicit about: distributing 100% of incremental cash flow from operations generated in an upside scenario above preset thresholds. That kind of explicit commitment to sharing windfall profits is rare among large-cap energy names and gives income-oriented investors a clearer view of what they are actually buying.

Not every major is running the same playbook. BP is directing its windfall cash toward debt reduction and a structural reorganization rather than extraordinary dividends, which makes the contrast with Eni’s distribution-first approach worth examining.

Your Balance Is a Promise, Not a Pile of Cash

Every dollar in your bank is an entry in a ledger and a claim on an institution. That works fine right up until it does not. Priority Gold’s free Wealth Preservation Guide looks at what history says about moments when those claims came under pressure, and shows three simple steps for holding part of your retirement directly.

Position Eni as an income and value holding rather than a pure commodity bet. The 9% gearing ratio leaves room to sustain distributions even if oil softens. Risks are real: the draft’s claim that Versalis lost €0.18 billion in the quarter could not be verified from reliable same-day sources. More broadly, weak chemical margins can remain a drag, and any sustained downside versus Eni’s planning assumptions would reduce cash available for future extraordinary payments. Regulatory exposure in Italy and geopolitical risk across Eni’s African production base are perennial considerations.

The broader lesson is straightforward. Cash generation does not automatically reach shareholders. It takes a management team willing to commit to a distribution policy and a balance sheet clean enough to honor it under pressure. Eni has both today. That combination, more than any single quarterly number, is what long-term wealth building actually looks like in the energy sector.
