* BLS will not publish a September JOLTS report. Data from the survey for September 2025 will be published with the October 2025 data.
** BLS will not release an Employment Situation report for October, but establishment survey data covering that month will be released with the November data. Household survey data from the Current Population Survey were not collected for the October 2025 reference period due to a lapse in appropriations and will not be collected retroactively. For both surveys, the collection period for November 2025 data will be extended, and extra processing time will be needed.
*** BLS will not release a CPI report for October. BLS is unable to retroactively collect these data. For a few indexes, BLS uses nonsurvey data sources instead of survey data to make the index calculations. BLS is able to retroactively acquire most of the non-survey data for October. Where possible, BLS will publish October 2025 values for these series with the release of November 2025 data. The November news release and database update will not include one-month percent changes for November 2025 where the October 2025 data are missing.
**** BLS will not publish October 2025 Real Earnings data. BLS could not collect the relevant CPI data for the October reference period. BLS is unable to retroactively collect these data.
***** The November Employment Trends report will include data for October. The Conference Board is not issuing a separate report for October.
