(Reuters) -Rocket company SpaceX will move its headquarters to Starbase, Texas from California, CEO Elon Musk said on Tuesday in a post on X.

Musk cited California’s new bill banning school transgender notification policies as one of the reasons for the move, calling it the “last straw”.

“Because of this law and the many others that preceded it, attacking both families and companies” Musk said in the post.

Musk in February said he moved SpaceX’s incorporation from Delaware to Texas, after a Delaware judge invalidated his $56-billion pay package from his electric vehicle company Tesla.
